CSGB September/October 2015 Auction15th September 2015 by Sam Whiting
Chris Corner has now completed the preparation for the CSGB October Card auction (PA540). There is a good mix of types and sets from both the UK and abroad.
Some sets I think are worth calling out are the Churchman’s ‘Flags and Funnels of Leading Steamship Lines’. I expect many people have seen the Ogden’s set but the Churchman’s is a far tougher one to get hold of! There is also a set in VG/EX of Ogden’s Champions of 1936 which of course includes Jimmy Braddock and Jesse Owens.
Types include Faulkner’s Kipling Series and Police Terms (both difficult sets to complete). There are also some Spratt’s Prize Dogs, ATC Actresses as well as many cards from Allen & Ginter, Dukes, Goodwin, and Kinney.
As ever if you have any questions about a particular lot or would like to request a scan please contact Chris and he’d be more than happy to help in whatever way he can. Below are shown lots 41, 128, 94, 100 and 24.

Greetings to all our Antipodean friends. We hope that you enjoy your day. Did you know you could visit Australia from here! In virtual form of course, because we have a thriving Australian cartophilic Society linked to us in many ways and it's ea
