There are card meetings and auctions going on around the UK every week and one of our aims at Card World is to try to list as many as possible so that you can see what’s happening near you and hopefully track down those cards that have been eluding you. As well as the CSGB branch meeting details you will also find details of other national auctions and fairs taking place that may be of interest.

2013 Convention – Woking

H Notable events were: Mr. G Rogers and Mr. V Young receiving life membership, Mr. J Devaney recieving the Cartophilic Cup. Sadly we heard the announcement that our West Country Branch would be closing in the near future.

2014 Convention – Southport

The 2014 CSGB Convention & AGM was held on the 25th and 26th April at  Southport Theatre & Convention Centre which is situated on the Promenade just off the town centre. There is some parking next to the venue with several other car parks and street parking close by. There are also two Park & Ride car parks. 2018 Convention – Kings Lynn

And a warm welcome back to the convention, last in Norfolk ten years ago, when it took place in Norwich. Ten years on, and hundreds of card collectors from all over the globe are converging on Kings Lynn. After searching East Anglia, we hit on "Lynnsport" a leisure complex run by Alive Leisure, with the usual easy level access for all visitors, catering facilities and car parks, plus great transport links. THE ANNUAL CARD CONVENTION

We encourage all card and ephemera collectors to attend our Annual Conventions. Every year we visit a different part of this country so there will eventually be one in your county area; though we do ensure that all our venues have excellent travel links for cars, bikes, and public transport. And we are delighted to report that several members fly in from overseas just to attend. The conventions usually take place on a Saturday and Sunday, though this year, due to a last minute venue change

2019 Convention – Nottingham

After a quick change, Nottingham Conferences being concerned that there were insufficient parking facilities at the our original venue, we relocated to the De Vere Jubilee Conference Centre, 16 Orston Drive, NG8 1DH, which is about a mile away from the original Studio 7. Some of you may remember this was the venue used for the recent Nottingham Postcard Fair in September and is set within the 65 acres of scenic lakeside grounds of Nottingham University, just 10 minutes from Junction 25
