CSGB Jan/Feb Auction – Now Closed15th January 2017 by Sam Whiting
I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and New Year, and are now fully recovered and raring to carry on with your collecting!
As usual, the auction contains a great mixture of sets and types, both tobacco and trade. Highlights include 2 Maynards Football Clubs, a set of Somportex Battle Medals still in their original packets, 6 lots of Fairweather Historic Buildings of Scotland, the first batch of some Guinea Gold and Tabs Cricketers, Mitchell Actresses FROGA, some American issues and Players Famous Authors and Poets (Narrow card). Do have a close look at what is on offer; I hope you can find something of interest.
If a member wishes to see a scan of a lot they are considering bidding on then I am only happy to oblige. However due to the cost of printing and postage this will only be possible by email. Please email your requests to me and I will try to respond as soon as possible.
If a member requires any more information about lots, then please contact me by phone, email or post and I will do my best to assist.
If anyone receiving this list through the post wishes to send a few stamps to defray our costs, these would be very welcome. This is not a demand, just a note, and thank you to those who have sent, without any reminder - appreciated Once again, I
By the time you read this, the Convention will soon be upon us. Again, at least for me, the last 12 months have flown by. It must be well known by now that we no longer have a live auction at the Convention, but the lots will be available for viewing
