Cartophilic Convention 2018 – King’s Lynn
20th October 2017 by Sam Whiting
As previously announced, the 2018 event will be held on the 28th – 29th April at the Lynnsport & Leisure Park, Greenpark Avenue, King’s Lynn, PE30 2NB. Once again this year it takes place on a Saturday & Sunday. In previous years the Society has been able to obtain discounted rates for members at a specific hotel, this has not been possible this year as none of the larger hotels are interested in offering any group discount. By searching online you will find many hotels in the area including a Premier Inn.
You will find a table booking request with the next magazine and David Davis has asked that everyone who would like a table at King’s Lynn to complete this and return it as soon as possible. The price of the tables will be the same as last year, namely, a single table in the centre of the room will cost £50 and a wall backed single table will cost £65. A double table will cost £100 and £130 respectively. Further tables are available at a cost of £25 each for the centre and £30 each for wall backed. These prices are of course for the 2 days. If you would like to request a table please complete the form below and send it to David either by email or post. This year, once again on Saturday we shall open to members at 10am and non-members at 12pm, closing at 6pm. This is to give visitors an incentive to join the Society! Sunday opening will remain at 10am and 4pm as before.
David Davis can be contacted by email at: dd732804@gmail.com or by post at PO Box 32, Southend on Sea, Essex, SS1 3QJ.
